“A dog is a man’s best friend” doesn’t even begin to describe the bond between Aidan and his wolfhounds.
These stunning dogs date back to antiquity and were used in the 16th century to hunt wolves, which is quite hard to believe seeing how affectionate they are.
Majestic and loyal, Spéir and Máirtín devoutly followed Aidan during our morning walk (of course not without the occasional pause to take a dip in the sea).
These once warrior wolf-hunters have shown us their other side: a gentle and playful soul.
How beautiful it is to enter someone else’s reality, if only for a brief moment. And also how precious is it to observe any type of true love.
