Deep in the heart of Tanzania lies a coffee plantation of the Meru Tribe. This small plantation is owned by a family, who cares for the plants day in and day out. Some of the plants date back to 100 years and they are paired with banana trees to help keep the plants shaded. The family still does everything by hand, without machines. Every bean is cultivated and cared for and it shows in the taste of the coffee.
